Nazgul King Officially Releases Spring 2027

The Lord of the Rings is easily the most beloved fantasy franchises of all time, and with the upcoming 2027 release of The Hunt for Gollum inching its way closer every day, hype for LOTR’s future is at an all-time high.

And despite mixed reactions to the ongoing Amazon show Rings of Power, season 3 promises to delve deeper into some of the most fascinating aspects of the franchise’s lore, including Sauron’s rise to power, the actual forging of the One Ring, and more. Further, the recent announcement of Stephen Colbert and Peter Jackson’s LOTR film Shadow of the Past has fans absolutely losing it, adding yet another exciting project to look forward to in the years ahead.

Beyond the various screen adaptations of Tolkien’s iconic world, Lord of the Rings fans have recently gotten some incredible news on the video game front as well, with rumors suggesting a massive open-world RPG in the works and possibly even a second LOTR RPG from Warhorse, developers behind the Kingdom Come: Deliverance franchise.

If that wasn’t enough to keep Lord of the Rings enthusiasts on high alert over the coming months, fans will want to mark their calendars for the Spring 2027 launch of Lord of the Rings: Nazgul King, a stunning upcoming release from Pure Arts.

Nazgul in Lord of the Rings

Lord of the Rings is getting an official release from Pure Arts featuring the Witch-King of Angmar, the iconic Lord of the Nazgul himself, available in Q2 2027 and up for pre-order now. It’s an officially licensed, exclusive edition LOTR art mask of the Nazgul King “captured in his terrifying spectral form as he confronts Frodo” from Peter Jackson’s The Fellowship of the Ring. It’s an absolutely stunning and haunting recreation, intricately designed to capture every terrifying nuance of the Nazgul Witch-King’s face.

Pre-orders for this exclusive collectible mask are currently open, and the item is listed at a staggering $1,299.00 USD, so clearly this one is going to be for hardcore collectors only. Despite the high price tag, the Nazgul King mask will certainly be a hot item among fans looking to take their collection to the next level.

The Nazgul King mask features “silicone skin, glass eyes, and individually hand-punched hair, delivering an unparalleled lifelike finish despite his wraithlike form.” Further, the mask comes on a display support modeled after “the Morgul blade planted into the castle ruins, recreating the dramatic moment of attack” against Frodo in The Fellowship of the Ring, arguably one of the film’s most compelling and memorable moments.

If you’re a hardcore Lord of the Rings fan and/or collector looking for an incredible new centerpiece for your library of merch, the Nazgul King mask is a limited-edition item that will only get 250 units produced in total, so don’t wait too long to claim yours.
