48 Fall Bucket List Ideas to Actually Do This Year — Autum Love

Every September I make a mental list of everything I want to do before the leaves are gone. Every November I’m still holding onto three sweaters and a half-burned pumpkin candle, wondering where the season went.

This year I actually wrote the list down and grouped it so it’s not just 48 random ideas you skim once and forget by October. Pick a category that matches your mood this weekend, or work through the whole thing before the first snow. Either way, cozy season goes a lot better with a plan.

Outside & In the Air

  1. Take a drive just for the leaves. No destination required — just good light and a decent playlist.

  2. Pick your own apples, then actually make something with them. A dozen apples and zero pie is a missed opportunity.

  3. Walk through a pumpkin patch without buying a single thing. You’re allowed to just look.

  4. Find a corn maze and get mildly lost. Bring someone with a good sense of direction, just in case.

  5. Go on one proper hike before it’s too cold to enjoy it. Trade running shoes for boots and take it slow.

  6. Sit outside with a blanket and a hot drink until you’re too cold to stay. That last ten minutes is the whole point.

  7. Visit a farmers market on a Saturday morning. Fall produce hits different than a grocery store aisle.

  8. Rake a pile of leaves you have zero intention of bagging. Jump in it. You know you want to.
