Arsenal wonderkid Max Dowman could make his full Gunners debut during the Carabao Cup third round clash against Port Vale on the road tomorrow.
The Gunners suffered an untimely injury against Manchester City on Sunday. Noni Madueke sustained a knee concern and has been ruled out for the next few weeks at least.
As a result, manager Mikel Arteta could hand Dowman his maiden start for the Gunners on the right wing when they take on Port Vale at Vale Park on Wednesday evening.
Bukayo Saka is available for selection after his return from a hamstring injury, but Arteta may not risk him with a huge league game at Newcastle on Sunday.
Dowman has come off the bench to feature on the right wing on a couple of occasions and he could be handed his full debut against Vale tomorrow.
Ethan Nwaneri has played in the position in the past too, but the Gunners graduate could start in a central attacking midfield role at Vale Park.
