With Conquest expected to play a significant role as an antagonist in Season 4 of the Invincible TV series, fans are about to have more of the ultra-violent Viltrumite villain than they can handle soon enough.

Battle Beast #6 is the end of the series’ first arc, but there is little resolution. Instead, readers are left with several strong dangling plot threads for the book to explore in its next arc, including the confirmation that Conquest is being sent to the planet Fantania to do what he does best: subjugate it and eliminate any opposition.

When Battle Beast debuted, author Robert Kirkman and artist Ryan Ottley noted that its protagonist wouldn’t be the only familiar face from Invincible that readers would recognize in the series. Despite Conquest’s reputation, he actually appeared in less than a dozen issues of Invincible. Fans will have to wait until March 2026 for Battle Beast #7, which readers now expect will officially reintroduce Conquest. That is around the same time Invincible Season 4 premieres on Amazon, and Conquest is expected to have a big part in that as well. Meaning it is going to be a massive year for Invincible’s most ferocious antagonist.
