Gautam and Natasha’s story began long before the public glare. The two families had known each other for years thanks to their business backgrounds, but love blossomed in 2007 when they met at a friend’s gathering. After years of friendship and growing closeness, the couple tied the knot on October 28, 2011, in an intimate event attended by close friends and family. Their marriage has since stood as an exemplar of companionship and support in the public eye. Natasha, hailing from a prominent business family in Amritsar, holds a business degree and has pursued further studies in gemology and public relations.

Over the years, Natasha has been more than just a partner—she’s been Gambhir’s confidante, friend and backbone through the ups and downs of his cricketing journey and post-retirement responsibilities. Gambhir often credits his wife for grounding him: “Natasha has been a pillar of support in every way possible. She is a partner in the truest sense of the word. I can go out and try my best, only because she is in my life,” he shared in a recent interview.

The Gambhirs are proud parents to two daughters, Aazeen (born 2014) and Anaiza (born 2017). The family is frequently seen together at IPL matches and various social gatherings. Natasha and the girls have been a steadfast cheering squad through Gambhir’s many roles—from star player and IPL captain to commentator and, now, national coach.
