Nuno Espirito Santo takes charge of West Ham for the first time with a tricky-looking trip to Everton in the Premier League on Monday.
Santo, who left Nottingham Forest on September 9, was named Hammers manager on Saturday following the sacking of Graham Potter.
West Ham are second-bottom and have lost at home to Tottenham and Crystal Palace since beating Santo’s Forest 3-0 away on August 31, while Everton are 12th after losing 2-1 at Liverpool on September 20 and have not conceded in any of their first three matches in all competitions at their new Hill Dickinson Stadium home.

Everton lineup vs West Ham
Defender Jarrad Branthwaite and on-loan Freiburg midfielder Merlin Rohl remain out injured for an unchanged Everton but manager David Moyes has suggested both could return soon.
Moyes had two spells at West Ham between 2017 and 2014, guiding the club to Conference League glory in 2022/23.
“I really hope I can earn the opportunity to get back into European football here at Everton,” he said in his programme notes.
“At West Ham, I built so many special relationships with players and staff and that togetherness certainly helps you during those busy and difficult times.
“As a team, [Everton] are still finding our way to where we want to be. In recent seasons we have been looking to avoid relegation but, with more resources available, we all feel more capable of finishing higher up the Premier League.
“This can take time, whether it’s settling into a new stadium or introducing new players, but we will all be doing our best to accelerate that progress.”
Everton starting XI: Jordan Pickford, Jake O’Brien, James Tarkowski, Michael Keane, Vitalii Mykolenko, James Garner, Idrissa Gueye, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, Jack Grealish, Iliman Ndiaye, Beto
Everton substitutes: Mark Travers, Nathan Patterson, Dwight McNeil, Thierno Barry, Tyler Dibling, Seamus Coleman, Carlos Alcaraz, Adam Aznou, Tim Iroegbunam

West Ham lineup vs Everton
Midfielder Tomas Soucek is suspended for West Ham, while full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka has a stomach issue.
Santo has not selected playmaker James Ward-Prowse in his matchday squad for a game in which defender Max Kilman says the visiting fans can “really help” their team “push on”.
“It’s going to be a tough game and our first time at their new stadium but we’re ready for the atmosphere it’s going to bring,” Kilman told West Ham TV.
“It’ll be a great experience but we’re there to do our job and to help kickstart our season.
“David Moyes has been in the Premier League for a very long time and a lot of people know the kind of manager he is and the type of style he likes to play for his team.
“He’s done an amazing job as a Premier League manager over the years, including here at West Ham, but we need to try to find the best way to match Everton and win our own individual battles.
“We need to pick up some points but we need to stay calm… every time we travel, [supporters] travel so far all the way from east London.”
