Chelsea attacker Alejandro Garnacho could make the starting line-up against his former club Manchester United at Old Trafford tomorrow.
The Argentina international was a fan favourite at the Red Devils, but he made the surprise move to the Blues after falling out of favour under manager Ruben Amorim.
Garnacho is set to return to Old Trafford for Saturday’s much-awaited encounter. Ahead of the game, Blues manager Enzo Maresca has said that he is ready to start.
He said: “In the last two games, he was very good when he came on. So we are happy with the way he has adapted to our style and what we want from the winger. I think he is ready to start.”
The Blues have struggled to beat the Red Devils at Old Trafford over the years. United will be quietly optimistic of picking up a positive result in tomorrow’s encounter.
Amorim is under immense pressure on the back of just four points from as many games this term. A victory over the Blues would provide much-needed relief for him.
