Arsenal star William Saliba has ended speculation over his future by signing a new long-term deal.
The Frenchman has been a key player for the Gunners since his debut against Crystal Palace in 2022.
He was linked with a move to Real Madrid earlier this summer, but he has now put an end to the gossip.
Saliba’s previous deal was due to expire in June 2027. He has now prolonged his stay until the summer of 2030.
The Saint-Etienne graduate has been rewarded with a salary hike with the renewal and will earn £250,000 per week.
The centre-back has become the club’s third highest earner behind Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz, as per The Sun.
Arsenal have had a good start to the Premier League campaign. They are presently two points behind leaders Liverpool.
The Gunners can temporarily climb to the top of the table by beating West Ham United in the early kick-off on Saturday.
This would pile the pressure on the Reds, who face Chelsea on the road later. They have not won at Stamford Bridge since 2020.
