Fans of Adam Sandler have been hoping for a Grown Ups 3 for years now, and the actor and comedian has finally provided an update on the unconfirmed project. While Sandler has been in all kinds of popular comedy movies, Grown Ups and Grown Ups 2 are some of the most popular, making it surprising that a Grown Ups 3 hasn’t happened yet.
Speaking with IndieWire about the possibility of Grown Ups 3, Adam Sandler discussed what he has heard about the project, saying “I’ve heard chatter.” Rumors of Grown Ups 3 have been going around for years, and while Sandler wouldn’t confirm or deny the sequel’s existence, he did say that the film “would be fun.”
When asked if he would return for the sequel, Sandler said “When it happens, I’ve got to let you know.” Sandler then went on to say that “we’re trying to figure out stuff,” and while this doesn’t mean much, it does imply that Sandler is at least thinking about making Grown Ups 3. “It would be fun, that would be fun,” Sandler told IndieWire on the “Happy Gilmore 2” carpet. “We’re always thinking of some sh*t and trying to get us all together. I’ve heard chatter.” As for if he is down for “Grown Ups 3,” Sandler says, “When it happens, I’ve got to let you know. I just don’t know what the f*ck we’re doing right now, but we’re trying to figure out stuff.”
