Xbox Game Pass has gotten a number of high-profile additions this month, including Cyberpunk 2077 and classic RPGs like Final Fantasy 3 and 4. But if you’re an RPG fan, then you definitely don’t want to miss out on the newest masterpiece to be added to Game Pass in March.
Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth is on Game Pass now, and it’s a massive (and massively great) turn-based RPG packed full of mini-games. It has a compelling story and an excellent cast of characters, and it rightfully deserves the perfect 10/10 score ScreenRant gave it. You don’t just have to take our word for it, though. As the news was shared on Reddit, a number of people shared their appreciation for this game.
Xbox Game Pass Subscribers Just Got A Huge RPG
“Excellent addition,” reads the top comment on Reddit. “Banger of a game!” reads another.
“It’s a great game with a fantastic OST,” wrote one user in the thread. “One of my favorite RPGs of all time!” exclaims another user, who also shared they’ve sunk over 276 hours into the game so far.
There’s a dual narrative in Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, allowing you to explore storylines for Kiryu, the longtime protagonist of the Yakuza series, or Ichiban, the new protagonist from Like A Dragon. There’s a lot of emotion behind both storylines, and if either narrative ever gets too heavy, you can take a break by partaking in a variety of more light-hearted side content and mini-games.
Infinite Wealth Will Keep You Busy For Ages
It’s through the side content and countless incredible mini-games that you’ll likely really rack up playing time, although the main story is nothing to laugh at — you’ll easily sink 50–60 hours into the main story alone. It’s hard to ignore certain side objectives, and you’re doing yourself a disservice if you skip all the mini-games, so expect to get way more than 60 hours out of Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth.
HowLongToBeat averages the main story at 57 hours, with Main+Extra being 84 hours. Completionists average 118 with Infinite Wealth. As those countless comments on Reddit prove, however, it’s pretty easy to get 100 hours into the game without even really trying. There’s just so much to do, and so much to explore.
Besides, the setting of Hawaii is vibrant, so it’s the kind of world you actively want to experience more of. The combat system is surprisingly deep too, which will also add to how much time you spend playing.
Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth is well worth its original $70 price tag, but having it on Xbox Game Pass makes the deal even better. If you’re already a member, you can check the game out at no additional cost. Definitely give it a shot while it’s available.
