The Boys is back with season five, and in true superhero style, the Prime Video hit is already pulling deep cuts for fans. While war brews on the horizon between Homelander and The Butcher, The Boys is taking time to flesh out its supes with a curious new addition. The show just got its very own Vought-approved version of the Teen Titans, and the DC Comics nod includes the introduction of Sheline, a superhero who should remind you of Gotham’s most famous thief.
Yes, that is right. The Boys now has its very own take on Catwoman. Sheline takes cat-theming to the next level as the teenage supe just made her official debut in season five. As part of the group Teenage Kix, the Gen-Z hero is as skilled in battle as she is on social media, adding yet another surreal lens to The Boys‘ dark world.
Sheline Is The Boys Asking “What If Catwoman Had Actual Cat Powers?”
For those caught up with The Boys, you will know Sheline is introduced alongside the rest of Teenage Kix’s young heroes: Jetstreak, Rock Hard, and Countess Crow. The group was introduced by Vought as a way to improve the company’s image and make Homelander more relatable to younger generations. After all, Teenage Kix consists of social media influencers who moonlight as superheroes, and Sheline is one of its most popular members.
Dressed in a cat costume, there is no denying the connection between Sheline and DC’s own Catwoman (or even Black Cat from the Marvel Universe). Sheline is equipped with fierce feline superpowers, something which DC and Marvel’s heroines lack. Paired with impressive hand-to-hand combat skills, the new Teenage Kix supe is a threat as season five shows Sheline face Kimiko. But to show off in battle, well, Sheline has to first stop scrolling on TikTok.
Now if you are a fan of the original comics, you may not recognize Sheline. The Boys does include Teenage Kix, but the original group looks very different from the team Amazon assembles on screen. In the original series, Teenage Kix comprises Gen-X heroes who Vought markets as edgy alternatives to the Seven. The group does feature a version of Jetstreak along with other powerhouses such as Popclaw and Big Game. But as far as Sheline is concerned, the Catwoman knockoff is an original to Prime Video’s TV series.
Who Plays Sheline In The Boys Season 5 & Where You Know Her From
The Boys gives Teenage Kix a flashy introduction in season five which suits the show’s new stars just fine. Sheline is brought to the screen by Emma Elle Paterson. Dylan Colton plays Jetstreak while Andrew Iles plays Rock Hard. Actress Maitreyi Ramakrishnan completes Teenage Kix as Countess Crow.
Paterson should look familiar to viewers. The actress got her start in acting years ago with 2011’s The Year Dolly Parton Was My Mom. However, Paterson is best known for her work in Netflix’s Bet (Blake) as well as If I Go Missing (Sloane). The Boys marks the actress’ biggest project to date, so fans can expect to see more of Paterson moving forward.
Sheline & Teenage Kix Add A New Angle To Vought As A Parody
Paterson’s work as Sheline is top-notch, as audiences agree: It is so easy to dislike the teen supe. Obsessed with Instagram and all things social media, Sheline (and the rest of Teenage Kix) are a satirical take on Gen Z. The young heroes are not only self-absorbed with their image, but they are willing to shill propaganda for Vought without a second thought. The indoctrination Sheline exhibits on TikTok is downright eerie, and even Homelander is blown away by the grip Vought has on its teenage heroes.
The Boys is far from finished with Teenage Kix, rest assured. After all, who else is willing to sling merch for Vought on TikTok? Sheline definitely has a quota to hit when it comes to selling low-calorie sports drinks for her employer. There’s really no time to slack off.
The Boys season five premieres April 8, 2026, on Prime Video. New episodes release weekly on Wednesday, leading up to its finale on May 20.
