Wayward Fans Must Watch This Perfect 100% RT Hidden Gem on Netflix

If you enjoyed Netflix’s new mystery thriller series Wayward, then there’s only one perfect show that you should absolutely binge-watch next. With Wayward currently topping Netflix’s streaming chart on its Top 10 TV Shows in the U.S. list right now, it has emerged as a must-watch new Netflix series to stream heading into October 2025.

While Emmy winner Toni Collette is surely the biggest draw to Wayward for many viewers, the main star, Mae Martin, who also created the Netflix series, already had a breakthrough performance as the co-creator and star of another celebrated show that earned a rare 100% Rotten Tomatoes score.

Feel Good Is The Perfect Netflix Show To Watch After Wayward

Before starring in and creating Wayward, Mae Martin’s breakthrough role was in the British dramedy series Feel Good, which is streaming now on Netflix. Feel Good is much more reality-oriented than Wayward, but there are certain themes, such as queer romance and struggles with addiction, that are present in both series.

Feel Good is a semi-autobiographical portrait of Martin’s own battle with addiction while also trying to make it big in show business. If you were curious to learn more about Martin based on their performance in Wayward, then watching Feel Good on Netflix is just about the best thing you could do.

Wayward’s current dominance on Netflix’s global streaming chart provides certain evidence of its popularity, even though its Rotten Tomatoes audience score represents a division among viewers. Wayward still earned a solid 79% RT critic score, but that feels light years away from Feel Good’s perfect 100% score for its back-to-back seasons.

Why Feel Good Ended After 2 Perfect 100% RT Seasons

Feel Good sort of belongs in the same category as Prime Video’s celebrated comedy series Fleabag, with a perfect RT score but only two seasons to show for it. Like Fleabag star and creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Martin felt that ending Feel Good after two seasons was best for the integrity of the series.

The series originally aired on Channel 4 before Netflix picked it up for a second and final season. The series concluded after two 6-part seasons and a total of 12 episodes. Since each episode is 30 minutes or less, the entire series is essentially the length of one standard season.

Feel Good also features Lisa Kudrow of Friends acclaim and Charlotte Ritchie, best known for movies like Wonka and series like Code of Silence, the latter of which also interestingly earned a perfect 100% RT score. Feel Good is certainly not as offbeat as Wayward, but if you appreciated Martin’s performance, then it’s a fantastic follow-up series to binge on Netflix.
