WATCH: Sneh Rana’s pumped-up celebration after removing Phoebe Litchfield in WPL 2026

A burst of raw emotion lit up the Women’s Premier League 2026 when Sneh Rana erupted in celebration after dismissing the dangerous Phoebe Litchfield during Match 7 between Delhi Capitals Women and UP Warriorz Women. The moment, captured on video and widely shared online, underlined the intensity of the contest at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, where Delhi opted to bowl first and produced a disciplined performance to restrict UP Warriorz to 154/8.

Early strikes put UP Warriorz under pressure

Delhi Capitals could not have asked for a better start after winning the toss. Veteran all-rounder Marizanne Kapp struck with the third ball of the innings, removing Kiran Navgire for a duck. The early breakthrough immediately tilted momentum in Delhi’s favour, forcing UP Warriorz to reassess their approach in the powerplay.

Kapp bowled with control and pace, extracting movement off the surface and keeping the batters in check. With boundaries hard to come by, UP were unable to capitalise on the fielding restrictions, allowing Delhi to tighten their grip on the innings.
