WATCH: Ben Duckett takes a stunning diving catch to dismiss Harry Brook as TRT edge SRL in The Hundred Men’s 2026

Trent Rockets (TRT) continued their impressive run in The Hundred Men’s 2026 with a hard-fought five-run victory over Sunrisers Leeds (SRL) at Trent Bridge. While the contest featured several outstanding individual performances with both bat and ball, one of the biggest talking points came in the closing stages of the chase when Ben Duckett pulled off a sensational diving catch to remove the dangerous Harry Brook.

Brook looked well on course to take Sunrisers Leeds home after stitching together an important partnership with Mitchell Marsh. However, Duckett’s brilliant athletic effort in the field shifted the momentum back in Trent Rockets’ favour, allowing Mohammad Amir to deliver another crucial breakthrough at a decisive stage of the match.

The moment arrived when Amir tempted Brook into playing a chipped drive towards the cover region. The England batter failed to keep the shot down, and Duckett reacted instantly, sprinting to his left before launching into a full-length dive.

The Trent Rockets opener completed a superb low catch inches above the turf, ending Brook’s entertaining knock of 46 from 33 deliveries. Amir celebrated passionately after claiming the prized wicket, while Duckett’s outstanding effort immediately went viral on social media, with fans praising one of the best catches of this year’s tournament.

Duckett’s fifty and Mohammad Amir’s brilliance seal thrilling win for Trent Rockets

Earlier in the evening, Trent Rockets posted a competitive total of 146/4 after electing to bat first. Aneurin Donald provided explosive momentum with a 19-ball 40, while Duckett anchored the innings superbly with 64 off 47 deliveries. His third half-century of the campaign also saw him become the leading run-scorer in the men’s competition this season.

Sunrisers Leeds responded positively through Marsh and Brook after Zak Crawley’s dismissal. The pair kept the chase alive and reduced the equation significantly before Amir struck at the perfect time by dismissing Brook with Duckett’s spectacular catch.

Amir then removed Marsh for 41 soon after, leaving Sunrisers with too much to do in the closing stages. Trent Rockets eventually defended the target by five runs to maintain their place at the top of the standings with eight points from four matches, while Sunrisers Leeds remained firmly in contention for the knockout stages despite the narrow defeat.
