Tottenham Hotspur have been handed a big injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The north London giants have had a tough campaign under manager Thomas Frank and they are currently languishing 14th in the league standings.
Despite this, they should go into Saturday’s encounter with confidence on the back of a hard-fought 2-2 draw against Manchester City in front of their fans.
Spurs have a good recent record against the Red Devils and are unbeaten in the last eight meetings with three draws and five victories in that period.
Ahead of the game, they will receive a much-needed boost with centre-back Micky van de Ven expected to return from a minor injury in time.
Van de Ven has been Spurs’ best central defensive partner alongside Cristian Romero and the duo could line up together again this weekend.
Spurs will be eyeing their first league victory since late December.
