It’s a big year for Pokémon, with the franchise celebrating its 30th anniversary on February 27, 2026. The celebration has only begun, with Pokémon launching special merchandise, real-life events called “Day Out” and “Night Out”, and much more. Starting in 1996, our Pokédex’s have grown and evolved just as our love for these pocket monsters has, so a big celebration is certainly warranted.
There are many growing expectations of what fans can expect to see at Pokémon Day 2026 on February 27, particularly after the surprise release of Pokémon Red & Green, which didn’t even wait for the event to happen. If Pokémon‘s art and marketing teams are any indication, the day should be full of goodies. Jigglypuff already sang with Lady Gaga during a Super Bowl ad, hotels in Japan have special Pokémon decorated rooms, and now not just one special 30th anniversary logo has been revealed, but over 1,000.
Every Pokémon Is Getting A 30th Anniversary Logo
Even Special Logos For The Anime, UNITE, And Manga
The Pokémon Company is certainly making sure there are no doubts as to how many years we are celebrating. Each of the new celebratory logos for Pokémon features a large number 30 with the “0” designed to look like a Poké Ball and one of the characters featured in the center of the image.
Each iteration of the new 30th anniversary Pokémon logo features slightly different colorations on the number, to go along with the Pokémon featured, with many evolution lines sharing a color. In addition, there are a number of unique logos for other things in the series, such as the Anime, UNITE, the Manga, a Western Main Logo, and more.
Yes, It Includes All 1025 Pokémon
The Art Department May Have Gotten A Little Carried Away
Don’t be fooled though; this isn’t just a few logos that have been created. Whatever your favorite Pokémon is, there’s a logo for it. Literally every one of the 1,000+ pocket monsters has its own special anniversary logo, including regional forms and Paradox Pokémon.
All of these 30th Anniversary Pokémon logos can be found at serebii.net. They are also being shared in many of the Pokémon marketing posts, particularly on social media. Although if you are looking for a specific favorite, it will be easier to search Serebii’s listing of them.
While there isn’t a lot of variation between each logo, other than replacing the Pokémon itself, this still had to be an incredible feat to take on just for a collection of logos. Though it may not seem like a big deal, it does show the attention to detail that The Pokémon Company is taking for this anniversary, and is further increasing the anticipation of what else could be coming this year while we celebrate 30 years of our beloved Pokémon.
