Season 2 centers around the absence of patriarch Steven McBee Sr., as he has pleaded guilty to defrauding the U.S. Department of Agriculture via crop insurance fraud. What’s more, his love life is out of control, as he was dating his CFO Galyna Saltkovska, but dumped her to pursue her friend Masha.

Aside from Steve Sr.’s troubled life, there are other fires burning in The McBee Dynasty season 2, which takes place in Gallatin, Missouri.

The other most notable feud is between Steve Sr.’s ex-wife and McBee matriarch, Kristi McBee, and her oldest son, Steven Jr.’s on-and-off-again girlfriend, Calah Jackson. On-screen, viewers have been witnessing tension, and it has just been taken to a new level online.

They’ve Broken Up More Than 15 Times

Calah met Steven Jr. when he was one of the two leads on Joe Millionaire. He chose her as his winner, and in season 2, Calah and Steven had been together three years. However, they admittedly had an on-and-off-again relationship, having broken up and gotten back together over 15 times.

The reason they break up has mostly to do with Calah’s sour relationship with the McBee family. Moreover, Steven financially supports Calah. Calah said Steven will send her $10,000 or $20,000 at a time. Even though Steve and Calah broke up in season 2, Calah believes she deserves for Steve to pay for her apartment in Dallas, causing an even bigger power dynamic.

Calah has talked badly about Steven Jr.’s brothers, Jesse and Cole McBee, calling them “hillbillies,” and Steven said that Calah is “the most pessimistic person about my family.” The girlfriends/wives of Jesse and Cole also iced Calah out for her thoughts on the family and many breakups with Steven.

Steve Sr. has said that Calah is nothing but red flags and that she offers his son nothing. He also stated Calah gets black out drunk and embarrasses herself as she starts unnecessary fights.

Kristi Exposed Calah Online

As the McBees prepare to go to The Ozarks for a family vacation on the show, Steven Jr. invited Calah despite their off-again status. And in the latest episode, Calah told Steven that he needed to pay for her luxe apartment in Dallas. However, that’s not what’s actually happening.

According to mom Kristi McBee, via u/papablessssss on Reddit, Kristi tried to employ Calah twice, but she didn’t show up for work.
