The top 30 in full as Dembele beats Yamal to football’s top individual prize


The Ballon d’Or ceremony in Paris saw Ousmane Dembele crowned as the best men’s player in world football on Monday.

Dembele was rewarded for an outstanding 2024-25 season in which he inspired Paris Saint-Germain to an unprecedented treble that saw them finally add the Champions League title to their long list of honours.

He had long since been considered the favourite to take home the most prestigious individual prize in world football.
