With the Nintendo Switch 2 set to be a significant leap in hardware over its predecessor, plenty of games will be coming to the platform, though their prices have so far been contentious. Backlash over Switch 2 game prices has been prominent since the console’s dedicated Nintendo Direct on April 4, but it has mostly been directed at Mario Kart World and expensive new versions of older games.
Other new games will make their way to the Switch 2 now that Nintendo’s tech is capable, such as Split Fiction, one of the distinct highlights of 2025 thus far. Luckily, publisher Electronic Arts (via Nintendo Life) has confirmed that Split Fiction will be available on Switch 2 at a price of $49.99. This is the same price that Hazelight Studios’ latest is available on other platforms for.
