Considering its post-apocalyptic themes of the infected, Ashfield Hollow pulls references from Naughty Dog’s hit title. You’re a member of one of the last human settlements on the planet, and will have to face hordes of the infected in real-time combat to survive and ensure the safety of the camp.

However, Ashfield Hollow is also influenced by Stardew Valley. In this 2D pixel art world, you’ll also need to adhere to life sim mechanics, which include farming, crafting, scavenging, and fishing. The title has life sim survival mechanics that will feel highly reminiscent of ConcernedApe’s popular game. Even the notorious fishing system of Stardew Valley seems to influence the fishing system in Ashfield Hollow.

In addition to that, you’ll also be able to expand your household and customize it to your liking with new furniture and workstations. Furthermore, you’ll also be able to create meaningful relationships with the other survivors in the settlements, helping them with missions and even bonding with them, watching as a friendship becomes a romance.
