Steam is always getting free games, and if you want to kick off your week with a bang, there are four free titles you can grab right now. While some of these are still in early access, a couple are completely ready to go. While Steam loses at least one free game on February 16, today also marks the addition of some new ones.
And there’s a little something for everyone here. From top-down shooters and MOBAs to rougelites and a relaxing game where you get to be a cloud, the newest free games run the gamut. SteamGamesPC revealed the four games over on X (you can see the full post below), so if you want something new to play this week but don’t want to spend any money, give one of these free games a shot.
Steam Gamers Can Grab Four New Free Games Now
The four games free on Steam are:
- Cloud
- PUBG: BLINDSPOT
- Solo Tactics
- Wellbound
Of the four games listed, PUBG: BLINDSPOT has the most brand recognition. This version of PUBG is a 5v5 top-down shooter. It’s gotten “Mostly Positive” reviews on Steam since arriving on February 5 in early access.
If top-down shooters aren’t your thing, but you still want some PvP action, Solo Tactics is a MOBA full of 1v1 battles. Wellbound is a survival and crafting rougelite, which started early access on February 4. And Cloud is a relaxing and chill game where you guide a cloud around to absorb moisture and then rain down on plants.
There’s Something For Everyone
No matter what you’re into, you can probably find something here to enjoy. Steam has plenty of free games worth 100+ hours, but if you don’t have that kind of time, then you may want to give Cloud a shot, since it’s billed as a short game. PUBG: BLINDSPOT and Solo Tactics are both able to be played in short bursts too.
Or, if you’d rather really commit to something, then Wellbound may be what you’re looking for. It’s got Mixed reviews on Steam, so I’m not really sure what to expect here, but the trailer looked pretty interesting. And since it’s totally free, it’s at least worth checking out and seeing if it’s right for you.
If none of these games look good, then you won’t have to wait long for another haul. Steam is regularly adding free games every week, and this latest batch seems like a decent way to kick off a Monday. Give them a chance when you’ve got time today.
