Arsenal can move a step closer to a domestic and continental treble by beating Southampton in the FA Cup quarter-finals tonight.
The EFL Cup final defeat to Manchester City ended hopes of a quadruple and boss Mikel Arteta will be eager for the Gunners to bounce back strongly at St Mary’s.
The loss to City at Wembley was Arsenal’s first since January but they remain top of the Premier League and still in the Champions League with the first of two legs against Sporting CP to come on Tuesday night.
Southampton are enjoying an excellent run under Tonda Eckert. The Saints are unbeaten in 14 matches across all competitions and have built strong momentum in both the Championship and FA Cup.
