Serie A giants Inter Milan are keen on signing Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee on loan this summer.
The Netherlands international joined the Red Devils from Bologna last summer. He has had a poor debut season.
The 23-year-old managed just three goals and two assists from 32 league games before his season-ending hamstring injury.
Despite this, he has plenty of suitors in Serie A, considering his impressive final season with Bologna – 16 goal contributions.
Inter are one of his main admirers. They are prepared to land him on loan with a possible option to buy in July next year.
United have not made any decision over Zirkzee’s future, but the scenario could change if they land another marksman.
The club are more likely to trust Rasmus Hojlund‘s potential and Zirkzee could be the one to make way for a new striker.
United have their sights on landing Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap, but Chelsea seem to have an upper hand in the race.
