Amorim provides team news ahead of Arsenal game

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has provided team news ahead of the Premier League clash against Arsenal on Sunday afternoon.

The Red Devils are winless in the last two games in all competitions and they will be aiming to end the streak against the Gunners at Old Trafford.

Ahead of the game, Amorim was asked for an update on the squad, he replied: “I don’t know. I don’t know. We need to survive Sunday. The team was so tired in the last 20 minutes [against Real Sociedad].”

United beat the Gunners in the FA Cup third round back in January. They won the game through a penalty shoot-out despite playing with 10 men for 60 minutes.

The Red Devils will have to step up again to beat the London giants, who secured a stunning 7-1 win over PSV Eindhoven in the first leg of the Champions League round of 16.

Arsenal are on a two-match winless streak in the Premier League, but they should go into the encounter with confidence after thrashing the Dutch champions away from home.
