Realizing that it is a bomb, he races against time and tries his best to ensure all passengers on the train are safely able to leave before it is too late.

By adapting Lee Child’s Gone Tomorrow, Reacher season 4 will begin with a very similar sequence, where Jack Reacher will spot a potential suicide bomber on a subway train. He will run through an entire mental checklist one can use to determine whether the woman he suspects is a suicide bomber.

Once the mysterious lady checks all the right boxes, Reacher will try his best to save her and the other passengers on the train before disaster strikes. Peter Sutherland almost manages to save the day in The Night Agent by helping the train’s passengers escape, but one passenger still ends up dead.
