Arsenal face off against West Ham United in the Premier League this afternoon.
The Hammers have beaten the Gunners in the last two meetings at the Emirates Stadium. Arsenal will be keen to end the dreadful streak.
The North London giants can temporarily move to the top of the standings with a victory against Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
Ahead of the game, manager Mikel Arteta could make five changes from the 2-0 victory over Olympiacos in the Champions League in midweek.
Formation: 4-2-3-1
Predicted Line-up:
David Raya is guaranteed to continue between the sticks for the Gunners. He will be eyeing his fourth clean sheet of the top-flight campaign.
In front of him, it should be the same backline from the victory over Newcastle last weekend. Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori are poised to start in the right and left-back roles.
Ben White and Myles Lewis-Skelly will drop to the bench, having started the Champions League triumph over Olympiacos at the Emirates.
Gabriel Magalhaes suffered a minor injury scare, but he was back in training. The Brazil international should continue to partner William Saliba in the heart of the Gunners’ backline.
In midfield, there will be one change from midweek with Mikel Merino making way for Declan Rice. The Englishman is set to accompany Martin Zubimendi in the centre of the park.
Martin Odegaard is poised to start as the attacking midfielder. Bukayo Saka and Eberechi Eze should feature as the right and left wingers ahead of Leandro Trossard and Gabriel Martinelli.
Victor Gyokeres is expected to lead the line once more. He has scored all three of his goals at the Emirates this season and has another opportunity to find the back of the net in the London derby.
Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs West Ham: Raya; Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori; Zubimendi, Rice; Saka, Odegaard, Eze; Gyokeres.
