Predicted Arsenal line-up vs Burnley today

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is expected to make at least nine changes to the starting line-up for the Premier League clash against Burnley at Turf Moor this afternoon.

The north London giants are presently top of the table with a four-point lead and have the opportunity to extend the gap with a victory over the Clarets on the road.

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Predicted Line-up:

David Raya is an undisputed starter in the Premier League and Champions League games for Arsenal. He is expected to replace Kepa Arrizabalaga, who started in the Carabao Cup fourth round.

Similarly, Ben White and Myles Lewis-Skelly should make way for Jurrien Timber and Riccardo Calafiori in the full-back positions.

Cristhian Mosquera looks likely to keep his place in central defence, with William Saliba poised to miss out due to a minor injury.

The Spaniard is set to be accompanied by Gabriel Magalhaes, meaning  Piero Hincapie will drop to the bench from the midweek game.

In midfield, Martin Zubimendi and Declan Rice are poised to start, with Christian Norgaard and Mikel Merino set to drop to the bench.

Further forward, we expect three more changes. Ethan Nwaneri, Max Dowman and Andre Harriman-Annous are set to make way.

Eberechi Eze should start in the no.10 role this afternoon with Bukayo Saka and Leandro Trossard on the right and left wing respectively.

Viktor Gyokeres will lead the attack. The Swede has five goals at the Emirates Stadium, and will be eyeing his first away goal for the club.

Predicted Arsenal line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Burnley: Raya; Timber, Mosquera, Gabriel, Calafiori; Zubimendi, Rice; Saka, Eze, Trossard; Gyokeres.
