Pokémon Pokopia has an exclusive preorder bonus for anyone who gets the game from Pokémon Center. And while other retailers are offering bonuses, including in-game freebies on Amazon, the one from Pokémon Center is an actual, real-world piece of merchandise, so it’s something a lot of fans will want to have.

You can find the preorder for Pokopia on the Pokémon Center website, where it’s listed at $69.99 for Switch 2. You can get an in-game in-game Ditto rug as an early purchase bonus through the Mystery Gift function once the game is out, but those who preorder on Pokémon Center will be able to treat themselves to an IRL Ditto Plush as well.

Get A Free Ditto Plush With Purchase Of Pokopia

In order to get the free Ditto Plush from Pokémon Center, you’ll need to preorder Pokémon Pokopia by February 25, 2025, at 11:59 pm PT. This appears to be the Sitting Cuties version of Ditto, which is a 4 3/4 in plush that you can purchase separately on Pokémon Center for $16.99, so it’s a pretty good deal getting it at no additional cost.

You’ll need to hurry, though. On top of the February 25 deadline, it’s only while supplies last, and the offer has been available since January 5, meaning lots of folks have had the chance to grab it. Once it sells out, it’s unlikely Pokémon Center will restock until the game launches on March 5.

If you do miss out on the Ditto plush promo, then Pokopia preorders are still available at other retailers. You just won’t get the Ditto plush that’s exclusive to this Pokémon Center deal. Sadly, good freebies for Pokopia have been few and far between, which makes this Ditto plush offer even sweeter.

It remains to be seen if Pokémon Pokopia can really give Animal Crossing: New Horizons a run for its money, but as a huge fan of Dragon Quest Builders 2, I’ve learned not to doubt the devs behind this one. A cozy take on Pokémon sounds pretty fantastic, so hopefully the game will really take off.

Either way, Ditto is one of the most iconic Pokémon of all time, especially given its importance in breeding and eggs, and it’s also a fan-favorite from Gen 1.
