Magpies want Rashford

Newcastle United are reportedly keen on landing Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford on a season-long loan this summer.

The Magpies had a good 2024/25 Premier League season. They ended the campaign on a high by qualifying for the Champions League.

The Tyneside outfit are now expected to invest on quality signings and The Sun claim that they are keen on landing Rashford from United.

Eddie Howe‘s plan to propose a loan deal for the England international and believe he can be lured with Champions League football.

However, United are reluctant to entertain any loan proposals and want to offload their graduate on a permanent transfer this summer.

Barcelona were Rashford’s dream club earlier this month, but the Catalan giants have decided to land Nico Williams from Athletic instead.

As a result, United may struggle to receive any permanent bids on the table, considering Rashford is on a huge weekly salary of £300,000.

Newcastle will hope to take advantage of the situation.
