Minecraft Meets Stardew Valley In Upcoming Delverium:Try The Free Demo Now

Steam is in the middle of another celebration of upcoming games through Steam Next Fest. As part of this look ahead, the popular PC gaming platform and storefront has made a huge amount of games demos available to try for free.

This can be an incredible opportunity to find your new favorite upcoming game, but it also has its downside: With so many games to try, it can be hard to know where to start.

For fans of Stardew Valley and Minecraft, the answer might be with Delverium. The upcoming sandbox farming, building, and exploration game from Sagestone Games is shaping up to be a charming experience for fans of the two classic titles.

Best of all, the game’s multiplayer allows 1-8 players to farm, build, and explore together. The Delverium multiplayer demo is now out on Steam for free, but only for a limited time.

Delverium Has Serious Minecraft Vibes

With A Hint Of Terrarria

This week, Stardew Valley celebrated its 10-year anniversary, while Minecraft approaches its 17th in May. Despite these two games’ ages, they remain classic titles that engage players and inspire developers.

Delverium seems to take elements from both and apply them to a charming, experience with the pixel stylings of Terraria.

In Delverium, you and up to seven other players are thrown into an isometric, procedurally generated world. Players will have to rely on the land and NPCs around them to build homes, grow crops, and reshape the world around them to their liking. They’ll also uncover secrets and lore as they delve further and further into the world’s environments and caves.

The demo that’s out now is a chance to experience the sandbox game for free. But it’s also a chance to check out the game’s multiplayer function. You can play online with one to eight people, but the game also has a four-player local splitscreen. Now is a good time to round up your friends (online or in person) and try Sagestone Games’ debut title, while you can.

It’s Free To Try Until March 2

Along With Hundreds Of Other Games

If you’re thinking of trying Delverium, you’ll have to act fast: The demo is available now only through March 2. It’s presented as part of the currently ongoing Steam Next Fest, along with hundreds of other upcoming games.

Next Fest will also run until March 2, giving gamers a chance to check out what’s coming next for PC from developers big and small. Browse the many game previews, and you’ll undoubtedly find more hidden gems like Delverium.

Delverium is scheduled to release sometime in 2026 on Steam, with no specific date revealed yet. Along with trying the demo, you can also sign up for the playtest, and help Sagestone Games test and fine-tune the title before its release.
