Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has dropped a big injury update ahead of the Premier League clash against Manchester City at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.
The Gunners have had a good start to the Premier League campaign with nine points from four games. They also won their Champions League opener against Athletic Bilbao on Tuesday.
They will be aiming to sustain their momentum against the Cityzens this weekend. Ahead of the game, Arteta has provided an injury update on Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard and Ben White.
The Spanish tactician said that the trio will be assessed during tomorrow’s training session at London Colney and only then, a decision will be made over their availability for the Man City clash.
Arteta confirmed that Viktor Gyokeres and Mikel Merino are ready to play after head wounds, while William Saliba is also pushing to be informed, having been an unused substitute in midweek.
Cristhian Mosquera has been phenomenal as a centre-back alongside Gabriel Magalhaes in recent weeks, but Saliba should be reinstated into the XI against City if he is deemed fully fit to play.
