Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided a triple injury update after the Premier League defeat to Bournemouth at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners suffered a 2-1 loss to the Cherries earlier today and messed up the opportunity to go 12 points clear of Manchester City at the top of the league table.
The Cityzens still have two matches in hand and can reduce the deficit by beating Chelsea on the road tomorrow. Hence, Arsenal find themselves in a tricky situation.
Speaking after the game, Arteta was asked about the absence of Riccardo Calafiori, Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka, who were ruled out with potential injuries.
In response, he said in his post-match press conference: “No, and on Martin [Odegaard] as well, no. Bukayo Saka, too. We don’t have an update yet.”
The Gunners have no time to ponder over the result. They host Sporting CP in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday with a 1-0 lead.
