Saliba & Trossard avoid long-term injuries

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed a double injury boost ahead of the Premier League clash against Brentford at the Emirates Stadium tomorrow.

The Gunners will be aiming to return to winning ways following a disappointing 1-1 draw against Chelsea on the road. The Blues played with 10 men from the 38th minute, but Arsenal could not bag the win.

Ahead of tomorrow’s encounter, Arteta has revealed that the injuries to William Saliba and Leandro Trossard are not serious and it is only a matter of days before they return to first-team training once more.

The duo look poised to miss the upcoming derby against the Bees, but could be fit in time for the much-awaited league clash against Aston Villa on the road on Saturday afternoon.

Villa have been a bogey club for the Gunners in the recent past. Arsenal have won one of the last four meetings and will face another testing challenge against the Midlands outfit.
