As Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals (DC) are set to clash in a high-stakes match 63rd of IPL 2025, the weather is expected to play spoiler in this virtual quarter-final game in Mumbai.

As the IPL reaches its final stretch, only two teams—MI and DC—remain in contention for the fourth spot in the playoffs. A win in this match would guarantee MI a place in the top four. Their star-studded lineup led by Hardik Pandya, has clicked perfectly in all departments after a slow start, makes them heavy favorites to win. Suryakumar Yadav has found form at the right time with some match-winning knocks, while Jasprit Bumrah has been exceptional with the ball, consistently delivering breakthroughs. Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton have also played vital roles at start and adding firepower in the death overs. However, in case of a washout, things could become a bit complicated for the home side.
