Warning! Spoilers ahead for Avengers #32!
The Avengers are fighting to keep Kang the Conqueror from destroying the Marvel Universe and creating a new one in its place..and they might not succeed. Marvel keeps teasing a “New Universe” spinning out of the pages of Avengers, suggesting that longtime readers might already know what Kang’s version of reality might look like.
Avengers #32 is written by Jed MacKay, with art by Federico Blee. The term “new universe” keeps popping up in relation to this storyline, and it doesn’t seem coincidental.
That is, signs point to Marvel revisiting its short-lived 1980s “New Universe” experiment, a revival that might spin out of this epic Avengers storyline.
Avengers #32 will be available November 5, 2025 from Marvel Comics.
