Manchester United are interested in signing Alex Baena from Villarreal in the summer transfer window, according to Fichajes. The report has revealed that the Red Devils are planning a bid of €50 million for Baena.

Baena came through the Villarreal youth academy and has established himself in the first team of the Spanish club. The 23-year-old Spain international has been deployed as a left winger this season and has scored six goals and given eight assists in 27 La Liga matches. Villarreal are sixth in the La Liga table at the moment with 52 points from 32 matches, two points behind fifth-placed Real Betis.
