Manchester United have their sights on landing Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister at the end of the campaign, according to The Telegraph.
The Argentine was a top target for the Red Devils during his time at Brighton & Hove Albion, but he ended up joining Liverpool instead.
The World Cup winner has been a key player for the Anfield giants over the past few years, but he could be on the move in the summer.
Mac Allister has yet to receive a contract extension beyond June 2028 and reports claim that he could pursue a new challenge later this year.
United continue to remain interested in the former Seagulls man as they seek a replacement for Casemiro in their ranks ahead of next season.
The club have partly focused on signing Premier League-based stars and seem to prefer a new midfield recruit from the division as well.
Mac Allister could be prised away for around £50 million.
