Manchester United are reportedly exploring the possibility of signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jobe Bellingham when the transfer window reopens in January.
The Red Devils looked at landing Carlos Baleba from Brighton & Hove Albion last summer, but they were put off by the staggering £115 million valuation for him.
The club are likely to explore an alternative in January and it is claimed that Bellingham has emerged as an option for the Mancunian giants, according to Talksport.
The 20-year-old signed for Borussia Dortmund from Sunderland last summer after the latter’s promotion, but he has been a regular substitute for the German giants.
This has spread speculation over the midfielder’s future and there is a possibility that he could return to the Premier League with another club in the New Year.
United are monitoring his situation carefully, and could make an approach for his services if Dortmund open the door for his mid-season departure. They could wait until the summer to decide on his future.
