Mount could return for Man Utd vs Everton

Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount is expected to return from a muscle injury against Everton in the Premier League this month.

The Red Devils face West Ham United on the road tomorrow. They will be eyeing a fifth-straight league win, but it won’t be an easy challenge.

The Hammers are languishing in the 18th spot in the table at the moment, but they have picked up nine points from their previous four league matches.

The east London outfit are on the up and will be determined to secure a positive result against the Red Devils to boost their survival hopes.

Mount has already been ruled out of the encounter, but United manager Michael Carrick has revealed that he should be fit to face Everton.

After the Hammers, United are not in league action until February 23 against Everton, given they are already out of the FA Cup this term.

Mount is widely expected to return for the encounter against the Toffees. There is an outside chance that Matthijs de Ligt could be fit too.

De Ligt has been out since November with a back problem.
