Manchester United have held private talks with the agents of RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande regarding a summer transfer, according to Sky Sport CH.
The Red Devils are planning to bolster their wide attacking department for next season and have identified Diomande as a top target for the role.
The Ivorian only signed for Leipzig from Leganes last summer, but has made an instant impact with eight goals and six assists in all competitions.
His form has caught the eye of elite European clubs and reports claim that the Red Devils have had a private meeting with his entourage over a move.
However, a deal won’t be easy to pursue, considering Leipzig have no desire to sanctioning his sale for less than €100m during the summer.
The German outfit are in a strong position to negotiate with Diomande’s deal only expiring in June 2030 and won’t provide any big discounts.
Diomande is likely to prefer a future move to the Premier League.
