Man Utd eyeing deal for German left-back

Brown to Man United?

Manchester United are reportedly keen on landing the signature of Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Nathaniel Brown during the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils are determined to bolster their backline ahead of next season and they could pursue a new solution on the left side of the defence.

Luke Shaw has been the regular starter in the position for the Mancunian giants, but he has been injury prone in the past. With a higher workload next season with European football, he may need to be handled with caution.

Patrick Dorgu can occupy the left-back slot, but the Dane is much superior as an attacking player. This could urge United to add another competitor.

Brown would be a fabulous addition to the United ranks, but he won’t come on the cheap with reports claiming that he is valued at 60 million euros.

Eintracht are expecting the departure of their prized asset, particularly with them on course to miss out on Champions League football next term.
