Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa as a replacement for Andre Onana this summer.

The Red Devils have had a tough campaign and have accumulated only 38 points after 33 games into the Premier League season.

Onana has been at fault with several unforced errors and it has been reported that he could be offloaded for around £20m this summer.

The club have monitored Costa for the last few weeks and could sign him as a replacement. He is considered as the preferred choice.

However, the 25-year-old won’t come on the cheap for the Red Devils.

Manchester City are already preparing a £50m bid for the shot-stopper and Porto hope to receive close to his £64m buy-out clause.

It remains to be seen whether the Red Devils can go head-to-head with the Cityzens as well as convince the Portuguese to choose them.

Alongside Onana, Altay Bayindir could head for the exit door. The Turkish star has his sights on playing regular first-team football.
