Manchester United have rejoined the race to sign Fiorentina striker Moise Kean during the ongoing transfer window, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Italy international had a forgettable time in the Premier League with Everton, but has transformed his fortunes since his switch to Fiorentina from Juventus last summer.

The 25-year-old netted a stunning 25 goals over the course of last season and he is now open to pursuing a bigger challenge. He is open to returning to the English top-flight too.

United are mentioned as one of his main admirers and it is claimed that they have returned strongly for his services, having monitored his progress over the course of the recent campaign.

Kean has a release clause worth £44 million in his contract valid between July 1 and July 15. It remains to be seen whether the Red Devils will meet the reported clause to sign him.

Napoli are also keeping tabs on the highly-rated marksman. Fiorentina anticipate him to head for the exit door in the coming weeks.
