Man Utd attacker wants to join Barcelona

Rashford eyeing Barcelona move

Manchester United attacker Marcus Rashford has his sights on joining Barcelona this summer, according to Sport.

Rashford signed for Aston Villa on loan in February and he has impressed for them with 10 goal contributions from 16 outings.

The Villans have the option to purchase him for £40m, but that may not be triggered unless they qualify for the Champions League.

Rashford also shares the same stance. He wants to play in Europe’s premier competition and could be prepared to choose a new club.

Sport claim that the 27-year-old has not given up on joining Barcelona, who were interested in signing him on loan last winter.

Rashford has a long-term dream of playing for the Catalan giants. Manager Hansi Flick is likewise an admirer of the forward.

The United graduate can play anywhere in the final third. His versatility makes him a perfect addition to the Blaugrana squad.

Barcelona may explore a loan deal in the summer with an option to buy, suppose Villa don’t trigger the buy clause at their disposal.
