Manchester United are poised to sign Sporting CP wonderkid Geovany Quenda at the end of the campaign, according to Record.
The Red Devils are expected to make several signings during the summer transfer window, but manager Ruben Amorim will have the final say.
Record now claim that Amorim is keen on a reunion with Quenda next season. United have already ‘reserved’ a deal for the 17-year-old sensation.
Quenda made his debut under the Portuguese tactician last year. He has managed 10 goal contributions from 40 appearances this campaign.
The teenager started his career from the right wing-back position, but he has played as a left winger since Amorim’s departure to Old Trafford.
Amorim may consider him as a right wing-back at United. Sporting are eyeing £50 million for his services, but United could seek a discount.
The Red Devils could negotiate a lesser fee upfront for the winger with the remaining in the form of performance add-ons for the future.
