It’s easy to create a cardboard flower from a toilet paper roll! Make a bunch and use them as Easter egg holders.
Looking for an easy, budget-friendly spring craft to do with the kids? Save your rolls and make them with your family for a fun project that kids can help paint. Use the finished tulips as cheerful décor, centerpieces, or even cute Easter egg holders.
I can’t get over how adorable this tulip craft turns out!

1
Flatten a toilet paper roll. Trace a tulip shape using a pencil. Be sure the top side of the flower and the leaves are on the crease.
2
Carefully cut the flower shape out.
3
Paint the stem green and flowers bright tulip colors. Let them dry. Display on the table or use them to hold decorated Easter eggs!
Extra tips for making this paper flower craft:
- To make things easier, you can cut one template of a flower and then trace that onto the other flattened paper rolls.
- I think adding Mod Podge and glitter to the flower portion would be a pretty addition!
- Add a name to the flowers with marker and these would make neat place cards for Easter dinner.

Hooray for an easy tulip craft!
Add these to your Spring activities as they are a perfect way to get crafty with something you’d ordinarily throw away. I enjoyed making them, and I think you will too.
Create a festive Easter “snackle box” with your favorite candy and a cheap tacklebox!
