Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing Ajax defender Jorrel Hato to strengthen the left-back department ahead of next season.

Hato has been closely monitored by some of Europe’s elite clubs and The Athletic claim that he is an option for the Premier League leaders.
The Dutchman can also operate as a central defender. His versatility would make him a solid acquisition for Arne Slot‘s side next season.
Ajax have not set an asking price for the wonderkid, but it has been previously reported that they could demand around €50m.
Arsenal are also long-term admirers of the 19-year-old, but they may have cooled their pursuit after signing Riccardo Calafiori last year.
Manchester United have been credited with an interest in the past, but it is unclear whether they will return for him after a managerial change.
