Liverpool want Upamecano?

Liverpool are reportedly keen on landing the signature of Dayot Upamecano when his contract with Bayern Munich expires next summer.

The Frenchman has entered the last year of his deal with the German champions and he has yet to be convinced regarding a renewal.

Manchester United have already been credited with an interest in his services and it is claimed that the Reds have joined the pursuit of the Frenchman.

Upamecano is open to a move to the Premier League next year. He can sign a pre-contract with a specific club when the transfer window reopens.

Liverpool are facing a similar situation with Ibrahima Konate at the moment. He has been reluctant to extend his contract beyond June next year.

Real Madrid are in constant contact with his representatives. They are ready to push for a pre-contract deal at the beginning of the New Year.

Upamecano could be seen as a replacement for Konate. Regardless, the Reds are also expected to return for Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi.
