MCU News: Spider-Noir Villain, Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Trailer, And More

New Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Team-Up Trailer With Jessica Jones — Marvel Studios has released a brand-new “Team-Up” trailer for Daredevil: Born Again season 2, featuring new shots of Matt Murdock’s war with Mayor Kingpin and his AVTF, as well as the return of Jessica Jones to the MCU after seven years. With the new season set to premiere at the end of this month, we only have a few short weeks left!

Mike Colter Teases Luke Cage Return (“It’s Time”) — In a recent interview on Michael Rosebaum’s Inside of You podcast, Luke Cage actor Mike Colter confirmed that talks with Marvel have indeed been happening and that the time is right for Luke Cage’s return to the MCU.

New Looks At Spider-Noir Villains — New passes April’s CCXP 2026 in Mexico feature our best looks yet at some of Spider-Noir’s upcoming villains, specifically Sandman and Electro, 1930s-style.

Marvel’s Wonder Man Premiere Now Free To Watch — The premiere episode of Marvel’s Wonder Man is now free to watch from Marvel Studios on YouTube, allowing fans to get a feel for the impressive new show before watching the rest of the unique series on Disney+.

Robert Downey Jr. Becomes Godparent for Disney Adventure — Robert Downey Jr. was announced as the official godparent for Disney’s newest cruise ship, the Disney Adventure. As part of the promotions for the new cruise experience, RDJ also revealed the ship’s new Iron Man-inspired “Ironcycle” coaster (which looks like a ton of fun).

DC Studios Releases New Lanterns Trailer — DC Studios released the first trailer for Lanterns. Starring Kyle Chandler as GL veteran Hal Jordan and Aaron Pierre as rookie John Stewart, the new trailer gives us our first look at the grounded, True Detective-style series in which the Green Lantern duo investigates a murder in the American heartland that presumably has cosmic connections.

HBO Responds To Lanterns’ Green Suit Controversy — As exciting as the Lanterns trailer is, it did earn some strong controversy due to the lack of green. Understandably, the brief shot of a predominantly brown Lantern costume didn’t inspire much confidence (though I’m still hopeful that there’s a larger vision/narrative explanation in the works. Nevertheless, HBO did have some fun in their official response to all the discussion online:

James Gunn Confirms DC Projects For Kids — Responding to a fan’s question on Threads, James Gunn confirmed this week that DC Studios does have a few animated projects for kids in the works, an exciting update that does point to DC Studios’ intention to have content for all ages across multiple demographics.
