Real Madrid will hope to build on their excellent performance against Manchester City on Tuesday when they host city rivals Atletico in La Liga on Sunday.

Alvaro Arbeloa’s men won 2-1 at the EtihadStadium to secure a place in the Champions League quarter-finals.

Atleti are also through to the last eight despite a 3-2 second-leg defeat at Premier League strugglers Tottenham.

The Rojiblancos won the reverse La Liga fixture 5-2 in September, although Madrid gained a degree of revenge with a 2-1 triumph in the Super Cup in January.
